Individual developers like myself can't afford to get our software digitally signed, so your going to get a few security warnings during download and installation.  A great way to check files before or after you download them is to use the free service VirusTotal.com (a subsidiary of Google).  Before you run the downloaded file, from the VirusTotal website select the file from your computer to get it analysed.
